Blocking off "wind tunnel"

I have a deck area at back of house and we have built a small open bar area

all is good apart from one thing, we have some stools at the bar front

the problem is these line up with a path down to the bins

this basically acts as a wind tunnel and makes the stools unusable

so what we need is a way to seal it off at the bar end, preferably without restricting the width of the path to the bins too much

looking to do it simply and cheaply as it wont be used often but needs to be able to put into place quickly

though of some sort or roller blind but I'm sure someone here can come up with better

Thanks

Got this for the same issue back in 2018 and it’s been fantastic, one thing to note you need a bit of muscle to pull it out as its spring loaded (to stop it bellowing in the wind) so it’s not something you want the kids trying to open as they will go flying, mine covers a gap of around 2.3m its still as good as new, bit of rust on the cap screw that holds the brackets but other than that its been perfect.

if its opaque , won't it kill the light .. maybe large piece of polycarbonate sheet - hinged ?

other side is all open and south facing so no light issues :) its just if you are sat on the stools at the bar it's windy and cold
