Thanks for that 8 Pack. Re-reading my post I should have made it clear I was talking about the difference between K and F variants in general (i.e. previous gen chips). Hope I didn't mislead anyone into thinking I had insider knowledge about these new ones!

For us K better than KF in general for OC on older gen... But silicon lottery still applies to some extent..

Will go the 10900K. I know from a value for money perspective there are better options but I only game and want the best possible. Will be using my 1080ti whilse I wait for next gen nvidia cards.

ALmost pulled the trigger few times on the 9900K, so i've done my waiting.

Hardware unboxed say that there's no point getting the 10900k, the 10600k was the best gaming option and a lot less cost.
