Your B350F is probably

On one level true, on another level a large upgrade is a likely time for people to replace their case.

Ironically I'll be upgrading my case and it has 2x USB 3.0 ports and 1x USB 2.0 port, so again more of common standard.

I was looking at the Asus Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi, that only has
Rear USB Port ( Total 8 )
2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 port(s)(1 x Type-A +1 x USB Type-C®)
4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port(s)(4 x Type-A)
2 x USB 2.0 port(s)
Front USB Port ( Total 6 )
2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port(s)
4 x USB 2.0 port(s)
.

Personally I'm leaning towards Gigabyte B550 Master and ASRock Taichi B550 , ASRock specs here https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B550 Taichi/#Specification

Nice pic of ASRock.

As someone waiting for my first build, does anyone know when these will be available for pre-order? Now the manufacturers have shown their hand, surely people are going to start building the storefronts for them?

Sorry if asked before but, will the B550 support legacy chips - my 1200/3600's for example? Also, anything on pricing yet?
They will only support ryzen 3000 series but not the APUs and the upcoming 4000 series.

If you want something that will support all ryzen chips so far and the upcoming 4000 then the b450 tomahawk max is a good shout.
