Hi folks, I have been running gaming laptops for a while but the need to be mobile is diminishing so looking for a new rig. It's been a long time since I built a machine but did it quite a lot in the past so would prefer an OCUK build but might be tempted to self build if it squeezes a bit more out of the spec.
I have the following as a base to work from and ideally I am wanting to run current and near future games at full whack on my ultrawide monitor at 3440*1440 along with a secondary screen if thats possible within budget. Ideally not a full tower and as everyone wants - as quiet as possible. I am playing things like Elite Dangerous, Satisfactory and generally games which have a lot of background stuff running (e.g. Satisfactory running a lot of factory processes on a very large scale). I also run a lot of concurrent VM's but given this isn't really challenging my current laptop I don't think it will be an issue on a newer rig.
