What should I upgrade when I get this problem

Hi, I have had this gaming PC for a few years but have always had an issue when playing certain more requiring games i get lines coming up my screen like my PC can't handle the performance, what part should I upgrade in this instance? It is worth noting that I am still getting over 100 fps when this happens therefor I'm thinking a certain part is lacking.

From what you say, without a pic or more info I'd say you need to turn vsync on
