Even as someone that's not a trump fan I'm not sure it's the right move by twitter. Where do you draw the line on what gets a fact check I'm pretty sure at least half his tweets are lies so does that mean now anything without a fact check is a true statement?
Also he will love the attention he wants people to talk about anything else other than the 100k+ people that have died thanks to his incompetence. Hes like an ape flinging feces hoping something sticks to take peoples attention away

Devin Nunes was the one admitting that republicans needed to have a robust ballot harvesting operation. Republicans got caught tampering with mail in votes in North Carolina. You’re silent about those though. Why is that?

Not to mention several Republican states have been using mail in voting for years. With no issues and Trumps own investigation after the 2016 election found evidence of voter fraud and another one from the 2018 Florida governor election found no fraud
The reason the President doesnt trust mail in votes is because he would cheat to win and expects his opponents to cheat as well. Infact if there is any fraud in the 2020 election I expect it will be on the Republican side

Twitter could have used Trump’s own findings as the fact-check point, that would have been ironic.
While you're right to call out Twitter for using media outlets for fact-checking duties you're also wrong to draw attention to them saying there's "no evidence" then saying "experts say mail-in ballots are very rarely linked to voter fraud, because that's not what they claimed.
They said there's no evidence of wide spread voter fraud, something Trump himself claimed when he said that "There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent"
Also are you seriously suggesting that the Democrats are conspiring with the likes of CNN, NBC, The Hill, The Washington Post, American Civil Liberties Union, ABC News, Forbes, and The Christian Science Monitor (that's an oxymoron if ever i saw one), because if so you'd think someone in those 8 organisations would've said something by now.

No one said it wold be easy, and it's implicit any fundamental reforms are difficult, I'm just querying why people seem to laugh off the principle and wouldn't want to even try and work towards such a outcome?
It's weird how we've managed to put a man on the moon, teleported quantum particles and created an economic system with massively complex rules, regulations and vehicles.
