Looks like theres a new LAN driver and BIOS F5f up on Gigabyte support site:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z490-AORUS-MASTER-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios

I wish they'd actually detail what's changed in these BIOS revisions. I'm running the F5e which isn't even available any more which is slightly concerning!

Infact LAN driver appears to be the same as the previous one but has been updated with todays date.

I've yet to see any actual confirmation that Intel are even aware of this problem, let alone working on a fix.

I tried submitting a support ticket to Gigabyte but just got the usual scripted rubbish back about clearing CMOS etc etc.

@GIGA-Man Can you please advise whether anyone there is actually aware of this issue?

New LAN driver/firmware update:

Intel I225 Firmware Update Tool
* Intel I225 2.5GbE Firmware Version 1.45 for Link Stability Improvements

Seemed to revert to original issue on first power on, but seems fine after a reboot.

Interesting, so it's working fine now?

Can you confirm what driver version is showing in device manager?

I've rebooted about 3 times since I installed it a few days ago - i've noticed there is still approx a 10 second delay at the login prompt before the LAN symbol changes from no internet to connected.

Other than that there doesn't appear to be any issues, and appears very stable.

Still showing as driver date: 23/02/2020
Version: 1.0.0.13
