That low on the horizon could make it too hard to see I suspect.
So weather/location permitting Starlink #7 coming over in a tight train about 11:47 tonight...
And then over other nights too... Including on Sunday night where #6 and #7 can be hopefully seen at the same time...

Just one bright dot came over, as if they're all still in one bundle?
EDIT: A friend confirmed he could see the train, albeit it very very faint.

Starlink 7 has a new sun shade to avoid reflection. I wonder how well it is working.
Yeh, just spotted that bit of news. Going by last night, very well!
Was outside at 1150pm last night - managed to see the train of Starlink 7 satellites reasonably well - all well bunched together as well (but they did seem to pop in and out of view randomly so maybe these were the effect of the sunshades).

At 11:50ish #6 is coming over, and then also #7 (@ about midnight)!
Should be great at midnight if the clouds don't block the view.
Forecast is intermittent clouds, and of course we have the moon too...
Moon was quite low in the South East at midnight while I was out yesterday and the satellites passed more or less straight up overhead so hopefully it won't dim the view too much.
Never gets boring watching these launches!

Got a budget of around £400 (though cheaper would be better) and looking for a scope to do a bit of star gazing. Never had one before. What are your recommendations?
