Whats the crack these days? From looking through this page it seems Ryzen is best bang for buck over intel? Looking at building the kiddo a system. Would only need the tower, monitor is a 24" 144hz 1080p

Basically the same board as the Tomahawk in M-ATX form factor. It's also worth pointing out that the B550's launch in a week or two if you're willing to wait.

If you do go the M-ATX route, I'd recommend this case as it's pretty good value:

It comes fitted with four 120mm RGB fans and has a mesh front, for £50 I'd say it's a good deal.

They're of the mid-tower version rather than the M-ATX, but they're good indicators for the M-ATX.
