Quite surprised he was only 66. I'll be 50 this year and remember watching him when I was a kid. I definitely thought he was old then.
Liked his snooker, less keen on his commentary.

I think he was dealt a good hand in terms of his sports talent, marrying Miss GB and getting a nice family, and his ability to do well at commentary + after dinner speaking.... Unfortunately his compulsive gambling, lack of discipline in terms of keeping healthy, and general pompous, smug and slightly arrogant manner means I have little sorrow for him.
