there is no foodstuff or situation in which mushy peas are an acceptable accompaniment.

in the same way there is no valid motivation to eat re-fried beans.

the last thing i want when eating some delicious fried animal bits is a side that reminds me of what it'll look like in a few hours time.

This is why Europeans think we're scum.

I watched a video on the channel tunnel a couple of days ago and for some reason I read some of the comments. One of them was that the UK was worried about the possibility of rats coming from France through the tunnel but it turned out to be OK because those that did ate some English food and went straight back to France :) The real reason for the concern about animals coming through the chunnel was rabies, of course, but the comment amused me.

Mushy peas are traditional with everything. They're a form of pease pottage, which goes back a long way.

I enjoy that pancake in a poll is still a thing...i remember it starting YEARS ago but don't exactly recall why. :(

P.S - NEVER mushy peas on a fry-up. Just what.
