TONS of offers coming out for this weekend's PL.

So far I've got guaranteed:

2x £25 FB - Bet365
1x £20 FB - Betfair

Get on it folks, this weekend could be a stunner :)

It is a shame but inevitable I guess. The level of posting on the facebook group has gone to almost nothing for the past year.

I wonder how oddsmonkey is faring? They are a lot bigger obviously but all these services are dependent on the bookies, and so many have tightened up or gone out of business lately.

I'd noticed that with Yesbets recently too. There definitely didn't seem to be the same level of user base. Although this year, I've barely done any matched betting as I've lost a lot of my main accounts and then covid hit. I'm tempted to start up again for the new football season with a new account but the days of easy money seem to be gone.

Oddsmonkey is better imo anyway

I find their software better than the likes of PA

How do you use it to find matches though? On Yesbets I can simply tell their matcher which bookie, which exchange, min odds, which event, bet type and amount and hit search and it'll find loads of results. I found Oddsmoney's system to be incredibly clunky, albeit powerful.

Can you give a quick rundown of your process please? I'm quite keen to get to know OM for their Smarkets commission deal too.

I've not touched MB for a few years since getting banned by most of the top names after a couple of years. I did see a few posts that the reloads available was a lot less these days? If that is the case what are people with a single set of accounts pulling in on average per month atm? I'll be moving in the coming months. so might be able to do a fresh slate but only if it's going to be worth it. Gutting to see YesBets stopping business as I've lost count of how many people I referred on to them

Since matched betting ended a decent run of money/decent offers, I've spent a lot of time studying, reading, review stuff looking for something else to get my teeth into. Spent last couple of seasons testing out some idea using Betangel/ trading etc - very very small stakes, along with paper trading ideas

Football Index has been OK - made decent profit but the lack of liquidity in the market is a concern longer term. Will continue to hold my portfolio on there for now but probably trade out as liquidity improves.

So going to plan for the season ahead on the football and see if I can make it profitable. Starting bank is loosable without any issues - no financial concerns on that front. Mainly focusing on Laying the Draw in football games.

Will update on a monthly basis. Selective games, not loads, probably 1 or 2 a day at the most when season starts up again.

Presumably you're going to be rather selective in doing that? Like there (in theory) shouldn't be any inherent edge in just doing that in general despite it being a tempting bet since most matches (like just under 80% or so IIRC) don't end in draws. If you did it in general you should still lose in the long run, in that sense it's just like any other bet in that you still need some edge regardless of it being a neutral bet in terms of which team wins.

yes - fairly picky about selections. I've reviewed a lot of data from last 10 years of the main european leagues - I've built a few excel sheets with it that data and then looked for any opportunities/selections that fit the criteria I want. No "edge" or "get rich scheme" but I enjoy playing around with sports betting and just looking for something else to get my teeth into.

I ain't going to claim it's the best thing/newest thing going (lay the draw has been around for ages) - but happy to have a play about with it. Starting out with £500 bank and see how we get on. Quiet few weeks ahead till the "main" seasons gets underway. I'll update once a month for interest if anyone wants me too. But really I'm aiming for a "positive" season rather than just a month or two's numbers.

For example - the number of 0-0 draws in Holland top league in last 10 years is under 4%. So there is always opportunities to "trade" out of the lay and make some profit.

Sounds pretty sensible, I think posts like that are always interesting. I mean there are others who’ve just general update about getting gubbed etc... could do with more discussion about betting in general.

Here’s something interesting from looking at my MB which has been steady for last year. My smarkets is down £6000 and paddy is up £1700, not checked the rest but as my total is over £4K in the year that’s a lot of bookies I’ve taken money off. Too many wins!
