He's looking to spend around £1100-1200
doesn't need speakers, monitor or KB/M

What can everyone recommend?
Will be used for probably 1440 gaming at most for the next few years

You could revert to the 3600 to save some cash. Another option would be to add a beefier PSU and lower latency memory, but see what others say. I haven't bothered with the case as it's a personal choice but I might throw in a suggestion later.
