Ok but where are we going to house an extra 3 million people if they do decide to come?

When we send out letters to 10,000 customers at work, we don't forecast for 10,000 telephone calls the next day, we might expect 5-10% of customers to call in, then gradually lower volumes over the next 3-5 days. They aren't expecting 3 million people to up sticks and move here, perhaps 10% or 20% at tops might, over the course of 5-10 years. Those are reasonable numbers. People in Hong Kong are exactly the types of people the UK would want to attract.

Even if most of them are anti communist Democrats who will hate your marxist views.

Marxism isn't Communism.

Besides, I'm a Trotskyist, not a Marxist. Not that I'd expect you to know the difference.

Would y'all stfu about yer boogeymen? China hasn't been structured as Communist since the 80s, it's about as relevant as corner sofas at this point.

In a more relevant matter though, if we're going to be serious about even attempting to house 3 million people, as otherwise it's just virtue-signalling, there should be a vote on funding housing for the country that is consummate with our needs rather than the desires of the parasitic rentier class.

Yeah, it's probably more akin to a facist dictatorship these days.

Social credit system being rolled out worldwide it seems, just in time for Huawei 5G.

China tries to make its draconian new security law apply to 'everyone on the planet' with clause targeting foreign citizens who are not even in Hong Kong

How long before the commie social media giants align their T&C's with Chinese law like most of the non-EU internet has already done to appease the EU and it's GDPR faux privacy laws.
