Nettles! How to Kill!

Apart from the nuke from orbit option.

What form of chemical weapon of mass destruction will reliably destroy nettles but will nevertheless still leave the resulting nettle apocalyptic wasteland still capable of supporting other life?

(You know. Like grass, apple trees, whatever?)

Yep, this stuff is the business. Got a 5l off eBay, Gallup XL, years ago and still have loads left.

Glyphosate will kill everything.
If your just wanting to kill weeds & not grass you need a pasture weedkiller like Grazon

Sorry to thread hijack but would this stuff be ok to use under my hedge or would it kill the hedge as well as the weeds (the Weedol stuff I've got does kill them but they come back in a couple of weeks)?

Yes, provided you don’t spray it on the leaves of the hedge. Although if the hedge is established it probably won’t kill it, best to avoid doing it though.

Agree, but used safely the dose for a single use is utterly miniscule, and its probably.
I would want to be very careful if I was using it repeatedly however, such as grounds people spraying for hours a day

This is what I use and I'm a gardener.

I mix 120ml to 5lt of water. Kills pretty much anything.

If you want to kill ivy or brambles you'll need a stronger mix. But 120ml will kill nettle's
