As someone who is a diddler who studies children, I am telling you, specifically, in diddling, no one calls ephebophilia pedophilia. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.

Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. An ephebophile is an ephebophile and a member of the chronophilia classification. But that's not what you said. You said ephebophilia is pedophilia, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the chronophilia class ephebophiles, which means you'd call nepiophiles, teliophiles, and other sexual attractions pedophilia, too. Which you said you don't.

Because I hope I'm not reading what I think I'm reading?

Is your position that the current definition of paedophilia is too broad, and that people who are attracted to sexually mature, but mentally immature people are ok?

If that is the case She'd better have some sort of Dead mans release setup so if she 'commits suicide' then all that information is released to the press. Most MSM likely wouldn't print or pick parts of it but there'll be blogs and other sources who will. If she's dead then they retain control of the narrative. If it gets to Trial and it looks like there might be a chance she's going down for a long stretch she'll plea bargain her way to low risk fial or house arrest or something. Then anything she does hand over will likely be hushed up.

Reminds me of years ago at a place I worked - was a guy that was very popular had a racket going - would take requests for music, DVDs, designer trainers, etc. at knock down prices - lot of BSing about knowing people in wholesale and closing down sales - pretty sure it was all stolen to order. One day was arrested at work and turns out he'd been flogging child porn as well (outside of work) - suddenly everyone is like "never liked him", "knew something was wrong with him", etc. despite not long before talking about what a great guy he was, etc. :s

Christ - how does someone go from selling stolen goods to distributing child porn. Glad they were caught. Reminds me of a friend's story - guy at his previous job. Took his broken laptop into a shop to get fixed - and they found child porn on there and obviously reported him to the police. I guess it's a good thing people like this aren't clever.

I'm guessing there was a lot of money involved. This was back in the days before people generally had the internet at home he was making good money downloading all kinds of stuff like pirated software, etc. for people.

Yuck - I could get the stolen merchandise, that ilk are hardly going to lose sleep over a stolen DVD player/films etc. But child porn :(:(, no matter how much you could make.
