Yes, he got quite ridiculous towards the end. Really marred his legacy in the role IMO. Completely ruined some races with the safety car when drivers were calling for slicks.

They got much less willing to take any risks after the death of Bianchi; since then (2014) there seems like we've barely had any wet starts

I'd actually like to see them race in places and times of year where there is a high chance of inclement weather at least for some races. Then I'd like to see rule changes to allow the cars to perform better in the wet.

Certainly makes it more interesting to watch; especially in an era where we're seeing 2 cars at the front constantly.
