I'm having an extension which will give me s mancave/study and also sacrificing some garage space for a utility room. Has anybody bother fitting a fan, we will be moving the clothes horse in there so there will be some moisture. Room won't be massive probably 2.5 X 2m or so.

Cheers

Tbh I'm not sure as the wall hasn't been knocked through for the window yet:p. I can fit a fan, I'm just thinking if it's worth doing I'll fit it or at least prep for it before the rooms wired in and plastered. Would you recommend a humidity controlled one as I'm not sure my wife would remember to switch on a timered one:D.

Will there be a sink in the room? We were told we had to have an extractor in our new utility room (part of an extension) to satisfy building regs, if a sink was fitted.

No idea if that's the truth but it's what we were told. We hardly ever use it though, I just tend to leave the window open.
