I usually just use my fingers, or if that doesnt work, block of wood and a g clamp.

Same. For most Toyota calipers at least if you cannot push them back by hand then you either skipped finger day at the gym, or your calipers are going to need a refurb soon.

So final question, to torque or not to torque. So do you torque anything like calipers, caliper carrier, location bolt. I should say I will be replacing the disc also(rear).

Most things I read are not to bother with torquing, it would mean buying a torque wrench.

Can you imagine the newspaper story if this guy ends up having an accident.
