I'm pretty sure if you plan to steal a truck load of apple products you know what you're expecting to jack and how to keep them in condition to offload.

But would Apple know which IMEI / s.no. went on which truck??

Also I've heard IMEIs could be cloned (not legal ofcourse).
It's on the side of every phone box so I'd be very surprised if each barcode wasn't scanned as it was loaded onto the pallet and then they'll know which pallets are on the waggon.

Considering the amount of security in iPhones these days down to the hardware level I'd be very surprised if being able to change the IMEI was enough these days.

Does it blacklist them in all county's or only those that play ball?

Perhaps phones were not the target.

Used to be a case it was only those that play ball as it's a network block.

Any device blacklisted in the U.K. should eventually become blacklisted across all networks in the EU and North America as they’re meant to sync this info in their respective Equipment Information Registers. Whether they apply an IMEI check on first registration is very much down to the networks.

Apple and cheese do go together rather well. Heading down to market to see if I can get a 2 for 1 one on a couple of those luvly jubly monitor stands. Non traceable, and they're fun for all the family.

"Getcha monitor staaaahnds 'ere, 2 fer a grand.'
