Agree I personally think it's the best ever TV theme. But I do love movie and tv themes/soundtracks as has been shown, have many more good ones but the hulk (the lonely man, can't be beat).

ah getting up early on sunday morning around 4am just to watch this lol
Watched it on my Amstrad 128k which came with a tv tuner base unit that the monitor sat on.
My bedroom was a hole in the wall in the kitchen back then, think a step up from a single end lol.

For me, it's the A Team intro. When I was younger, maybe Hong Kong Phooey (number 1 super guy!). Or Rainbow. Or maybe the Pink Panther cartoon series (the one and only, truly original). Or maybe Top Cat.
Oh no, wait, I've got it. The Banana Splits. I can't remember anything about the program itself, but I remember the insanely cheerful theme tune. Tra la la, tra lala la, tra la la, tra lalala! Maybe not the best theme tune, but very memorable.
Or maybe Bagpuss. When Bagpuss wakes up, all his friends wake up.
Trumpton. Or was it Camberwick Green? They were related series and have splodged together in my memory. Hugh, Hugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub. IIRC. And this is the clock that tells the time in Trumpton!
