Damn I hate wallpaper.

I've been continuing removing the wallpaper from on top of paint which is on top of plasterboard. Can see why the previous owners just wallpapered the terrible paint job.

Will all this paint need to come off before this wall is skimmed?
Some of it is just falling off, other bits are quite stubborn.

This is the only bit of the house it has happened. But it's quite bad.
I'm asking as it's going to take a load more time. To get all this paint off.

This is where I just took it all off.

This is a small patch on another wall in same room.
You can see the plasterboard underneath

In other parts of the house there was wallpaper straight on plasterboard. Where the wall also needed to be skimmed.

If you listen to folk on here it's a 2 week job which requires a professional to do it properly and cost you £800 per day.

At least that's how it normally goes.
