Ah ok thanks for the sound advise, I assume you mean grease the "clamp" bit internally? then fiber grip the rest?
Ill have to get some all purpose grease and fiber grip on order then!
Just don't get your NGLI-2 and CRB-GEL mixed up!
NGLI-2 is just normal thicker grease if I recall (and backed up by wikipedia):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NLGI_consistency_number
I've no idea how the CRB-GEL they mention (
actually FSA stuff - so maybe find it cheaper from them?) compares to other fibre grip pastes/gels. Maybe

Great tips, also some good warnings in there on page 16 about only wiping the wedge clean - seems like there's internal lubricant and some adhesive you may damage if you used cleaning solvents/degreaser.
Looks quite a neat wedge design compared to some of the others, although you lose a minor amount of aero with it being inside 'the triangle' I like the practicalities of it being easily accessed and away from ingress from dirt/water/grime/rain from above.
My Scribe wheels have been pushed back 2 weeks
Glad I rushed to buy rotors and a cassette at a premium so they'd be here in time for the wheels
Shame, guess it's supply issues from China which everything seems to be hit by at the moment.
Nightmare, guy I got mine from at the weekend said he had sets in for about a week and then all gone! And eta for more rims is months away again. Think all those supplies are the same.
Sounds like it's right across the industry and has been for the smaller wheelbuilders all the way through, just now also impacting those who had stocks and likely buying more volume.
Think it'll continue so we'll see more and more price hikes? What are others thoughts on this?
Until now wheels have largely been unaffected (price wise) unlike groupset, frames and bike builds. But I'm guessing it was always likely to happen. Just wondering if I budget and consider a set of wheels now rather than leaving to the autumn for any 'deals' (which is unlikely with low supply issues - more likely they'll climb). Probably going the Zipp 303 S route unless something else pops along at around £600 as the Zipps still coming in below a grand still with Brexit and everything else they're pretty unbeatable for wide/fast/features/aero off the shelf wheels.
EDIT: Unrelated. Planned club ride out to Gospel Pass this saturday, trying to figure out if I can make it and still get home in time for taking the little dude swimming. No beer & cake for me afterwards like the others!

Figure I can get home in 1hr 15mins solo, so what it takes to climb (~40 mins), have a breather and descend (10-15 mins), so I'm at 2hr 10 mins count back already. It's tricky as although planned meet is 30 mins earlier than usual, I don't know the planned route to actually get there! Surely it won't take over 2 hours...!
