I finished this game tonight and had to make this thread.

It's a great Metroidvania game that I would rank up there with the Ori games.

Blasphemous is a brutal action-platformer with skilled hack’n slash combat set in the nightmare world of Cvstodia. Explore, upgrade your abilities, and perform savage executions on the hordes of enemies that stand between you and your quest to break eternal damnation.

The combat is slick and responds well.

The story is told much like the Dark Souls series, through items and encounters in the game. Cvstodia is a ****ed up place.



The graphics, despite looking like they belong on the PS1, are gorgeous.





If your a fan of Metroidvania, I strongly suggest throwing this on your wishlist.

Took me 13 hours for an 84% completion.

It's not Bloodstained long but pretty decent length, I think I got around 16-17h for 100% completion but there's additional content on NG+ and some things change.

Oh god, Alien Breed was so damn good! I need to go and play that again. I was probably 7 or 8 when I played it so I doubt I finished it.

I remember Alien Breed on the Amiga but Team17 are probably best known for the Worms franchise

I also finished this game some time ago and gave the new game+ mode a try too.

Very fun and challenging, lots of deaths.
