Blasted plastic covering

I have just treated myself to a small box of drill bits - The box was open so you can see what is inside and then sealed with that menace of plastic cover. You know the sort -thick plastic that is same shape as the item and air sucked out.
How the hell do you remove it without cutting your hands to bits - Is there a special way - I can never find press studs or any sign of a hinge.
Is there a knack other than Stanley knife.

Drill them out using the drill bits in the package :)
