Its actually a shock to be able to offer a deal on GPU's, don't be surprised if they sell out or get pulled but lets keep the faith and here are some very nice deals on 3060 and 3060Ti, they may not be quite at the FE prices but thats unlikely to ever happen with AIB cards, but they are pretty close and certainly a huge amount closer than compared to recent times.

Daft question but why do the non Ti cards have 4GB more ram? I'm still rocking a 980Ti and wondering if it would be worth the change...

It's slower, 3060ti is a much better card.

It’s do to with how the chips are built. They had the choice of adding 6gb which just isn’t enough or 12gb which is more than enough. The Ti is a much faster card and the 3060 will never make use of 12gb VRAM in gaming but just 6gb would have crippled it in certain games.

There's only certain RAM configurations available depending on memory bus width.

With the 3060Ti the choice was 8 or 16GB. Putting 16GB on it would mean you'd have to do the same with the 3070 and 20GB on the 3080 or it'd look they were cheaping out on the premium cards. So this would have effected their entire release line up.

Later when the 3060 was released it was a choice between 6 or 12GB and Nvidia plumbed for 12. Which is an odd choice as the cards not that powerful but I guess slapping the extra RAM on justifies a higher price.

Im running a 980ti gone with a 3060TI which should see double the performance

Picked up a zotac 3060ti, my zotac 3080 was solid so expect this will be similar

They should have used 8gb with a 256 bus for the 3060 as 8 would have been plenty while the extra bus speed would have gave it a bit more raster performance which it is lacking.

Hi there

This is a heads up guys, the pre sales are going absolutely crazy on these deals, 500+ cards pre sold already, as such we may pull the ability to pre order tomorrow to avoid any crazy back order situation as we don't want a repeat of the 3080 situation.

As such if your a forum member reading this and considering a card, get your order in ASAP, because soon I may have to remove the ability to pre order to play it safe until stock lands as though I have ordered around 5000 cards, there is no guarantee that 5000 will be delivered, yep that is the true reality and uncertainty of dealing with the AIB's at present it is hard to get them to actually ship volumes of stock, does not make the job easy.

So if your on the fence, get your order in, as I will probably play it safe and potentially remove pre orders tomorrow until I have confirmation of exact amounts shipped as we don't want any back orders waiting for weeks let alone months.

Zotac has a 5 year warranty while the Inno3D 2 years, all 3 3060tis will perform very similarly so for me if I was planning to keep the card for over 2 years then I'd go with the Zotac while if I was planning to upgrade again in less than 2 years and just wanted the best possible price then I'd go for the Inno3D at £419.99.

The Inno is listed as slightly higher boost clocks, but 2 year vs 5 year warranty.

PPS The £419 Inno3D card is gone already.

For an extra £20 I'd take the warranty on the Zotac.

I'd go Zotac, they also allow cooler removal/thermal paste change, my 3060Ti apparently has been shipped
