I bought one of these back in April when my old monitor went pop. VERY happy with it - especially for the price (£290 at the time). There's no height adjust on the stand, so be prepared to buy a monitor riser. Much as I'd love to, there's no room for a second :(

depends on when your rdy to buy money coming in .. and with stock in count ... legalise ?

The deal/rebate from LG would be set for a certain amount of units, say 500. Once that amount is crossed then OcUK would no longer receive a discount therefore their buy price would go back upto 'normal' and sale is over. It's all very simple really.

well the promo is back. im really conflicted as to whether i should just buy this monitor for the bargain price, or wait to splurge on a more expensive 32 inch 4k 144hz when they come out.

The 4k's are gonna be circa-£1k I reckon, if not a little more. But it'd last you 6/7 years+ easily though if it's a good one...

yeah im prepared to pay that much for how long itll last vs a 1440p one that id feel like upgrading if breakthroughs within hdr tech or oled monitors become more available within 2-3 years. to be honest the thing im most worried about is the black smearing on this model, i cant find anything online about it so i dont know if that means no one has any issues? ive never used a VA before and im quite worried for some reason

I went for the LG 32GP850 but I can def feel me being swayed by a 4k model next year when they're all out.
