I wanted to eject the SIM card tray, but instead of the little hole on the SIM tray itself I put the removal tool into a small pinhole just to the side of that, between the tray and the USB connector. Everything still seems to work, but does anyone know what that small pin-hole is ? Concerned I may have damaged something, although so far it is working normally.

OK, that pin-hole is the mic. If I can make a phone call and people can hear me, all is well. If not then...
