We just had Amtico put down in our entrance hallway, I also had it in the old house for about 8 years and looked as good then as when it was put down. Make sure to get a decent latex put down and nicely leveled and it will look excellent. Plus like others have said if you damage it then you can cut that part out and relay it.

Not had a great experience with Karndean. Marks easily, lifting in places, had to have several bits replaced.
