These unbranded big multipacks of socks can be a pain with different lengths or the foot size obviously being made for the smaller Asian markets.

My typical day to day wear normally sees me in short n trainers lol
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07R1ZM66V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For when Im in actual trousers I normally use:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Under-Armo...r+golf+socks&qid=1631443785&s=clothing&sr=1-6

Both are very comfy, haven't shrunk and don't seem to wear much
For cold outing and hiking I grabbed some from Costco but cant think of the brand off the top of my head

Like yourself Ive gone thru many different types of the big bulk packs annd theyre ytpicall are either poor fitting or fall to bits pretty quick

bridgedale, dont have many though. they are too expensive IMO. Socks shouldny really break over £10 unless some special use like mountain use etc

After making a similar complaint in a sock thread a little while ago, I bought myself some of these - and signs are good so far. They're very comfy, not too hot. Just need to wait and see what the wear is like. The Danish Endurance bamboo socks I got around Christmas time I'm finding more and more of them have threadbare patches in them, so they've been very disappointing.

They're significantly cheaper in Go Outdoors though - less than £10 for 2 pairs.

I've got a load of Pringles dress socks which were bought from Costco years ago which have lasted extremely well, but they're not quite as comfortable. And if there's one thing COVID has taught me, it's that I value comfort over most things for clothing. Or maybe that's just getting old...
