Lian Li O11Dynamic USB Header

I was looking at getting a Lian Li O11D case but on PCPP it mentions the motherboard (Strix B550-F) isnt compatible as it doesnt have the required header.

A lot of the cases I looked at are similar.

Is there an adapter I can buy to fix this or do I need a different motherboard?

Look on the big River place for USB 3.2 adapter. Ezdiy and Mahou both have what I think you are looking for.

Appreciate that.. so im looking for an additional £11-15 to use this case with this motherboard... might be better just jumping to the B550-E which is compatible.

Ill have a look at other motherboards anyway.

Just wanted to know if it was something possible.

Yeah use different mobo if you can. I thought you already had the mobo so needed the adapter.

The new 3.2 connector is so much smaller and neater than the old 3.1 so is an aesthetic improvement as well as being faster.
If you are planning to put fans on the base of the Dynamic then look where the 3.1 header is on the mobo you go for, you may need a right angled adapter.

Still looking but swaying between O11D and Corsair 5000 but I think both had same USB3.2 issue.

Maybe ill look at some microatx.

I got the same case with an MSI x570 board. I had to buy a right angle connector so I could fit the lower fans but found one easily on eBay about £10.
