Looking to run away in mid-November for a week. My budget will be around £500 max including flights (guessing this means Europe?) so maybe looking at airbnbs but perhaps all inclusive. Maybe a hostel but thinking I could do half the week in one place then the other half in a hotel. Will work this bit out later.

So the criteria...

- Hot as possible but expecting 20c realistically
- A nightlife as I'll be signing up to activties/social things
- Perhaps 4-6 hours flight time so not too far really just due to jetlag/making the most of the destination

Thinking perhaps Greece? Canary Islands? Maybe even out of Europe?

Note I have been away by myself a few times so don't need advice about that bit. :)

Agadir, Morocco should be 23-24c in November, flight time from London circa 4 hours, no idea of air b’n’b, never tried it, doesn’t appeal to me, always rent a villa, condo, or apartment if with my wife, small hotel or apartment if alone.
Morocco could possibly have Covid restrictions though.
Canaries similar temps and flight time, but be chav aware.

Cyprus is probably the hottest place in Europe generally but having visited in October the night life is dead by that point so I can't imagine November is any better.

If youre looking to socialise with the locals, Seville will still be 20 plus at that time and has people living there as well as being a nice place to visit

Probably the Canaries, Gran Canaria and Tenerife are your only options for any signs of life. I liked Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is a more of a city break no real beach but the nightlife is fun.

I'd avoid Lanzarote and Furetaventura as it's the former is quiet sleepy place and the latter is even slower and quieter. La Gomera, whilst nice is quieter still and better suited to hiking. And no-one goes to El Hierro, unless they want to dive or hike volcanic trails.

Tel Aviv, Isreal is a decent shout. I did a trip there in November. You won't be going in the sea, but it's a nice city break with good food and plenty of nightlife.

I've also done Seville in November too. Normally you'd still come across plenty of tourists, but there is a lot to see and some fun bars. I don't know what the restrictions are in Andalusia. Each autonomous community sets their own. With Cataluña being the most restrictive at the moment, and Madrid being the most open.

Furetaventura is where fat old British tourists go to ride "quad bikes" around town that are actually legit mobility scooters. I've been twice: once when I was 10, once when my Tenerife hotel was shut down due to COVID. Avoid like the plague, unless you like surfing and being anti social.

Malta would be quite nice, not sure about night life though.

Been to Matla a few times too. Actually been pretty much most places in the med that have a port bar Cyprus.

Yard 32 in Valletta is a great little gin bar, there is also Bridge Bar and Cafe Society for live Jazz at the weekends. Old Valletta is a beautiful city to walk around, but it is full of cockroaches. Food in Malta isn't anything to write home about either. The younger crowd in Valletta tend to hang out at more modern venues in Sliema.

The larger nightlife though is more centred around St Julians, with all the usual tacky British and Irish bars. I was anchored in the middle of the bay there once an heard someone screaming for help. I went out onto my rear deck stark naked, and found a drunk guy struggling to get onto my boat. He told me he'd been out with his mates and tried to swim back to his hotel. I ended up giving him a dinghy ride back to an Irish bar. So that the type of place St Julians is. I don't know how busy it will be in November though.

Since it's going to be too cold to swim and visit some of the bays, beaches and caves etc.. I don't really think Malta offers that much.

I went to Barcelona in late November and it got up to about 18 degrees. Awesome city with plenty to do. Or how about Valencia or Malaga? Ibiza maybe another option.
