We would like to protect a newly built garden building that's got wood shiplap cladding. Looking to get it done before these reasonably sunny and dry days vanish.
Are all water-based wood preservers easy to paint over? I ask as there are lots to choose from and at some point we may want to paint it a different colour.

I painted my shed last year. It was brown shed colour. I overpainted it in a single coat of designer blue that is in vogue at the moment. It was much less painful than I expected.

Regular shed paint from Ronseal iirc.

Ta both. I'll take a punt but the Mrs may now have decieded she wants it painted grey. She wants everything around the house various shares of grey.... walls, floor, sofa, bath towels, front door. So why not the garden room??
