So picked up a lazy spa completely free of charge.

The power unit seems to be working.

Spa has been blown up no leaks.

The issues are the material for the bubbles has been torn, I'm wondering if I can someone repair it?

Also any idea on how to clean up the staining? Not sure what it is but it's some purple and yellow staining.

Bleach hasn't touched it...going to the shop now to get some mould and mildew spray as this seems to budge everything on the caravan but maybe I need something more specialist??

Waterproof sealant would be my guess but the testing would be a pain as you will need to fill it to a certain level and empty if its not right, then wait for it to bond/dry. Could take you few weeks to get right.

As for cleaning, no idea.

One thing to check on the motor unit would be the rubber seals as they can deteriorate after a few years and the unit will leak as it cycles the water.

That looks minging!

I've forgotten where I saw it but there's a bleach jelly like substance that you can leave on to do it's thing. Alternatively you can add bleach to white paper towels and put cling film over it (or just keep adding bleach so the paper doesn't dry out). The idea is that the bleach does it's thing, the white paper towels keeps it in place and gives the bugs somewhere to be absorbed and the cling film stops the bleach from evaporating. However I would think you'll use so much bleach to get that clean you could buy another lazy spa (exaggerating there :D).

Unless you're planning on dissecting a dead body in it like the previous owner just I'd bin it.

At that price it's definitely worth a try, it has good reviews working on tougher stains. Can you deflate it and put it in something so that it can soak for a bit?

I am just filling up with water now and see if it's working and no leaks.

If I'm honest I mainly got it to clean up and sell on.

Think I may just stick on eBay and see if someone wants it...the pump seems to be working fine...just the rest of it is a little crusty!

Covers cleaned up ok...hides the stains! Haha.

Just filled it and turned it on...

Air jets all work and the heater works.

A quick Google and the new version of this is selling for around £700.

Might be worth the effort to get it cleaned up if I can.
