We went to see this years ago, still one of the best tributes to a musician I've ever seen. if you get the chance, go. It's fantastic.

Three times dude :)

I also went to see The Crickets in the 90s.
It was the worst advertising ever and only 20 people turned up who were all local musicians who had been in bands with each other.
They came on and were awful but after 3 songs got into their stride, when they finished they told us to go nowhere and they would come and talk to us.
It was at that point we realised the film, just like other biopics, had a lot of false information in it.
I still get a buzz that I sat there talking to 3 people who had been on a stage with Buddy.

Random fact:
I have touched that

King Tut:
His parents were brother & Sister.
Married at ten to his half - Sister.
( shared the same father).
No wonder he had a few problems.

So their Father was also their Father in Law.
(That must have been an interesting speech at the reception... welcoming them into the family & all that)
