Tanks are a bit of a laugh, just had 45 kills in my first attempt at one though hard to say how many actual kills they were vs players and not bots. Bit too fast for movement imo, feels more like a jeep than a tank in terms of speed.

Seems to be quite a bit of lag on aircra...oh wait that word doesn't exist in Bf games...Seems to be a bit of lag in "air vehicles" where you can be firing at one and they just sort of warp away in one direction or another.

Get rid of that incredibly gay slide mechanic as well, every bf game its been in it's raised issues about hit detection and sudden random speed bursts wehere players just accelerate for some reason.

Any opinions on TTK and TTD?
Any cheaters seen yet?

I've not seen any cheaters as yet and perhaps the fact that there is no scoreboard to show off your uber 124 Kills 1 Death ratio actually lessens the desire for cheating.

TTK/TTD is pretty quick but not so quick that you cant turn a fight around. I've been jumped a few times and managed to win the fight so although the TTK/D is quick its not a case of first to shoot wins.

First impressions............. I really like it!! Love the feel of the guns, quite like the grappling hook, great to flank people when in a gun fight dependent on your surroundings. Not had a go in any vehicles yet, supposed to be working from home today :)

Played another round and enjoyed it more than the first. Some things don't seem to be working though, with the assault rifle you have the dual scope with an acog and rds. I can't for love nor money work out how to change between the two.

My main gripe at the moment is the map seems to big even for 128 players.

I actually love the big map, reminds me much more of the big maps that BF1942 had, hated the way that maps in fps have got smaller and smaller over the years until its reached a point where you can barely move without running into an enemy. I always loved the massive BF1942 maps like El Alamein where there was significant travel time between the objectives which imo allowed for a lot more strategy involved in approach and flag holding tactics.

One random little touch i noticed which i actually liked, if a passenger in a littlebird is firing an rpg or any rocket launcher out the side the blast actually pushes the helicopter off to one side a bit, i thought i was getting hit for a second then i went to third person and seen what was happening.

This^^ all day long. Hopefully a squad can again be more tactical with an array of specialism, medic, AT, AA etc. I guess once they've balanced and fettled the game, the map will open up for playability complementing the size. I think a lot of BEEF players that played prior to 1&V will be pleased with this iteration.

You, the pilot - should have been jettisoned out of the door with the rocket blast. Or at least needed a new face. Or were they in the back? :D

In the side seat platform thingies that gunners usually dangle out of. I'm wondering if its intentional or a bug at the minute as there seems to be a lot of random lag with aircraft.

Strange, can someone please advise..when I load into a new game, i start at around 135fps on average, and by the end of the match, im averaging around 110fps? :confused:

im only on 1440p High settings..and my GPU usage is not fully utilized? sitting around 85% usage and my peak temp on the GPU is 63c and averaging in game on the CPU is 50-60c??

My specs are in my sig.

If someone can mabye advise what settings I would benefit mostly from that would be super!

Could be a memory leak in the demo somewhere, that usually ends up degrading performance over time.

Played a good two hours myself this morning and really happy with the way it runs on my pc :) Seems to be a lot of complaints on the steam forums but game runs smooth for me. 4k Ultra on 65" C1 Oled i'm impressed ( 55-65 ) FPS , kinda was expecting that to be fair but when set to high gives around 70-80 FPS
had some fantastic games , shot a helicopter out the sky with a rocket from miles away and the explosion looked ace ,
4k Graphics look fantastic , looking forward to the old maps now , Purchased the ultimate edition its gets a thumbs up from me.
few bugs , Hud is rattling all over the place in some buggy's , Don't think the turrets are working right as mine didn't seem to fire at anyone so my guess is that needs fixing.... like all BF games unless you have a top end pc you don't get all the nice fancy graphics.... 8/10 for me currently just needs to fix a few bugs and I'm happy . bring on the fall game.
Map is on the big side but to me that what these BF games are all about , non stop action is to much its nice to have a little bit of downtime and then arrive at the flag location and boom all out war, thats how I like these games over the likes other titles.

That lag or major frame drop happens on the ground too. I haven't checked for a 2042 driver if there is one. Seeing as someone on the ground firing it doesn't go flying backwards - to make a helicopters weight move doesn't seem right. As the rocket would be somewhat going downwards, does it gain altitude as well as moving sideways?
