My 3900x is fine on x570
Though there's been mention of an AMD patch
Coming sometime
As AMD CPU's are apparently under certain conditions
Suffering up to a 15% performance hit
Appears not to be a 15% across the board hit
Only with certain apps or games
And may only be a couple of % with some
The 15% will be the worst case scenario

ryzen L3 cache latency is 3x higher in Windows 11 compared to 10, this cause 5 to 15% lower performance in CPU bottlenecked games, like counter strike global offensive.

This bug will be resolved in a new patch shortly

Glad a patch is being rolled out. I wonder how something like this was missed during testing?

My 1600 isn't even supported?

Does this mean it's already obsolete or is a fox coming??
There's ways to get around it not being supported
Both for upgrade by a registry hack
And for a clean install iso by using mediacreationtool.bat for example
Or by replacing files on 11 iso with ones from 10
I believe I even saw Microsoft mention how to
Though they did say you may not get future updates
Though someone will probably have a fix
For that too

I'm on a 3700x. Weird issues here ive noticed. Some not bad. In fact some, quite the opposit. I've been testing some of my more heavy games that i struggle to hit 144fps on. Performance before and after is about the same (after i upgraded a few drivers). However with 3dmark time spy i seem to have gained 500 points. Before (3 months ago) 6900. Now 7400 as from 10mns ago. However (again) my cinebench score has dropped 300 points. So i have no idea whats going on. The main point is everything is working just the same for me so im not complaining.

How is a 4 year old chip already obsolete?!

Ask Microsoft not me
Though it's not obsolete it will still run windows 10
With support for 4 more years
It just doesn't qualify for Windows 11
For whatever reasoning Microsoft used to make their decision
So there's no real point asking how a certain CPU
Doesn't qualify
The main thing is if you badly want 11 you can have it
By bypassing the compatibility checking as already mentioned
Whether there will be any future issues with windows update
By doing this is another matter
If you think it's bad as a home user consider probably 50% of business owners
Will have machines that don't qualify
