Enjoyed my time with it (6 hours) but it runs like a liquefied abortion on my ancient 4930K, around 45/55 FPS on average. Definitely CPU bottlenecked as changing the graphics settings did nothing (NVidia 1080).

Looks like i'll need to upgrade to play this smoothly. :(

Specialist's really do spoil it imo. Seems to me the only reason they are added is so they can try and sell more of them to us later on...

They're also encouraging more of a lone wolf play style. You can mish mash together a bunch of random weaponry to suit practically any scenario. I wouldn't be against them removing this gimmick and reinstating a proper class system, why sudenly change something thats been a staple of the series since the beginning? Just seems like they went all out to change the game drastically just so they would have something to waffle about.

for the same reason the" specialist" has the need to scream and shout in excitement when you are driving around in vehicles.

Yup, think they need to go back to the drawing board with this specialist crap. They musta come up with the concept after 5 minutes at a cocaine and hooker party.

It's to sell wacky new specialists as MTX.

I was never the strongest person for kills but I always prided myself on being a damn good medic and even better engineer. Now there just seems to be no point!

I still do plenty of medic'ing , I still find that most people arent rezzing and few people carry medic kits as it means having to give up an AA launcher or Antitank weapon or C5 etc. Plus of course the medic (or Support as she is called at the moment) is the only person who can revive someone with full health.

I played a couple of rounds this evening and it had that battlefield feel. Won't be paying £50 for this on release but at the right price it could be worth a buy.

I see you can pre-order the standard version for £38.99. Not sure if I can name the website. It is tempting. I have enjoyed it more since I got to play a couple of hours today, even with my ageing system. I set everything to medium and played around with nVidia filters. Looked very nice but max frames was in the high 40s. Eventually turned the fps counter off rather than torture myself that I need to upgrade.
