So why not just spec a 1080p monitor in the first place then ? Pointless having a 4K screen if the gpu isn't powerful enough.

I don't recommend outdated resolutions which are anti-ergonomic and cause more troubles for the user than any meaningful benefit.

For a budget gaming pc then 1080p is the obvious choice. Maybe if prices were back to normal then 1440p would be realistic. Putting a 4K monitor with a 6600XT is just dumb. And 60Hz TN makes it even more so.
