hi guys

ok, i never thought this would happen to me as i always try to be careful. anyway as i was trying to put the cpu cover back on the cpu lid, i dropped the cover and somehow dropped it on the cpu socket pins causing a significant amount of pins being bent.

question is, what is the best tool to try unbend them back? i have a variety of tweezers as my wife have bought me a set of them and i have plenty of little screwdrivers.

many thanks

No he's not, credit card between rows so you can see the bent pins easier, straighten the pins out row by row , a credit card fits just nice between each row

thats for pins on the CPU, pretty sure he means the pins are bent on the CPU socket on board which I have done myself so would use magnifying glass and something very thin to try to move the pins back in place
