I accidentally ended up with 4 tickets to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Anyway, i put two on via gogo and they sold last night. Problem is these are mobile tickets and whilst there is an option to transfer the tickets to someone else on the ticketmaster app, viagogo won’t give me the buyers details. My only option is to upload a ticket pdf which i won’t have.

So, my idea is to upload a pdf with my contact details and ask them to contact me to arrange transfer hoping via gogo don’t catch on, i don’t lnow why they are being stubborn and withholding the details as it is. Anyone had a similar situation?

I'm pretty sure they will be checked before being sent on

Otherwise you could send some obscene porn disguised as a PDF

When you say they are "mobile tickets" what does that mean? A QR code? Can't you create a PDF from that page?

Yea but its a qr code that updates every hour or something so a screenshot won’t work. The only way is to get the users details and transfer them officially via the ticketmaster app.

surely the answer here is to contact via gogo ?

i did and they are pretty much saying they won’t give me the buyers details. Apparently if i cancel i may have to cover the cost of the tickets. Not sure how tbey can enforce that as i haven’t paid them anything/given my payment details.

It says print screen them and it's fine:

I know it's not go but StubHub but same principle I imagine..you can't be the first person to have this.

Hello all.
A little late to the discussion but I don't buy or sell tickets online for events until today.
Just wanted to ask if anyone has negative feedback for Viagogo, I went to Wembley Stadium website for tickets for Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte and it sends you through to Ticketmaster but all the affordable options were gone and they only went on sale at midday today. I thought I had lost out but Googled tickets for the event and found Viagogo website so looked at it and found a ticket, more expensive than it would have been via Ticketmaster but affordable. Could have been someone who was just buying tickets with a view to making a profit or couldn't attend because it clashed with something and trying to recoup the money.
Anyway, according to the website you're protected by the fact that the seller, doesn't get paid until the event, so if its cancelled you should have a refund, but my question is , what if it's fake and not validated if I turn up to the event on the day? What is the procedure for dealing with this?

i believe if you don’t get in to the event you are due a refund. I am op in this thread and have bought tickets from via gogo before no problems.

Hi guys, so I bumped into this thread while I was searching for a solution to my problem. I wanted to sell tickets for a football game in Italy. Someone have bought it but now I can't upload all of them to the viagogo site. The thing is I have 2 tickets and 2 receipts that confirms I transferred my tickets to the buyers (they need to show original tickets and these receipts at the gates), but viagogo doesn't let me upload more than 2 pdf pages. It thinks that I want to upload more than 2 tickets. Do you know if there is any solution for this?

Bring back the good old paper tickets. Me and a mate went to a gig last December and it was all ticketless ticketing with QR code BS. Anyway, we printed them off along with our covid passes to make entry into the venue seamless but oh no the hand held scanners at the venue couldn't read the QR codes on paper it had to be a mobile phone screen. I've never heard so much crap in my life.

The printed out QR codes scanned perfectly fine when we tried them with our own phones.

It worked out well in the end though as we got directed to the box office and all they did was give us proper paper tickets instead. Result.
