I'd love a nice cold winter with lots of snow. It'll never happen this far south though :o

Not anymore, its been 30 years at least since we had proper winters.

Finally turned a bit more the proper temperature for teh time of year it was ridiculously warm for october earlier in the week. Trees havn't even started dropping their leaves yet its been so mild wouldn't be surprised if october is another record for mean temperatures like september.

I really hope there snow during the Christmas holidays and nothing afterwards.

I am abit of a Grinch when it comes to driving in the snow especially where I live in North of the wall.

Now it gone very mild again!! It's currently 13.5 degrees C outside and quite pleasant when the sun puts in a appearance although it looks like it will be raining soon. We have had a bit of everything this past week. The weather is all over the place and confusing the hell out of my plants. My roses have come into bud for the second time this year and I have gladiolas that are only just flowering.

Temperatures are set to increase once again this week, with the BBC predicting 18c in London by Wednesday.

I worry this mild autumn is going to bring a long and cold winter.
