That's amazing - stunning bits of kit.

Expensive at £15/£28 but to get access to the data can be superb. At those prices it's pretty much the same price (£30) for a 30 minutes lesson with my pro using trackman.

Not sure I could hit "unlimited" balls for 110 minutes mind you!

You can just turn up and use the range with however many balls you want for free, only need to book if you want to use the virtual course malarkey. I had a small bucket of 60 balls for £6 last week.

It's good until someone skins a ball at the trackman posts then it all goes a bit wrong haha

Had a day of two halves today, managed an 81 (+11), but with two triple bogeys and a double bogey in the mix, was playing the game of my life for the most part, but then golf golfed lol and the blow up holes happened.....love it though.

Mine

https://www.golfsouthayrshire.com/play/the-courses/belleisle-park/

Local Authority owned and run. Belleisle. James Braid designed and only 2 par 4 under 400 yards off the Medal tees...

£500 - 12 month season ticket, 8 courses (3 in Ayr, 3 in Troon, 1 Maybole, only 9 holes and Girvan) - unlimited golf.

I'm a member of Ayr Belleisle Golf Club which is only £55 a year as we have no say over the course (council run) and effectively no club house or alike.

It's very much a scramble for times when the booking open 8 days in advance - carnage!

Saying that - Within 15 miles of here I've got Trump Turnberry, Royal Troon, Dundonald Links, Western Gailes and loads more. Spoiled for choice.

I don't really have a home course - I use a rover ticket that gets me onto any of the 7 local authority owned courses. Only started playing about 5 months ago so still getting the feel for the different types of courses and may join a club next year.

The closest to me is Dunnikier Park.

I do live in Fife though so I've basically got courses round every corner and stay about 20 minutes away from St Andrews...

I've got 24 hours to decide whether to buy £900 of 150th Open tickets.... Any chance of a spare room??:cry:
£900! Sounds like you're taking an army with you! :D

2 of us have tickets for the Sunday so have a few seats in the car if you're nearby and struggling for transport! Worst comes to worst I could hitch up the missus's horse trailer and squeeze people in there :p

Anyone got any recommendations on getting some engraved or coloured personalization on a grip?
I'm getting a driver fitted next week and would like to buy a grip with some custom words on it.
I don't like just painted on words, more like engraving into the grip, so it doesn't disappear over time... Does anywhere specialise in this?

Thanks!

Just booked myself a Titleist Full Line Fitting session on Thursday 11th.
Looking to get fitted for the T100s irons. also fitting for a driver too but it’s the irons I’m more looking at.

I'm a Titleist player for all my woods. Had a fitting at Silvermere a while back, and although I changed a hybrid and fairway wood for TSi2's, trying out the drivers didn't show a significant improvement over my existing 915D3. YMMV, of course.

Do remember that the clubs you use at the fitting centre are magically enchanted to work brilliantly but the ones you actually get delivered probably won't have the magic included.

:)

Had another lesson yesterday.

He's happy with the grip changes from the first lesson, now a bit of work on my takeaway. Trying to keep the club face to mirror my spine angle at waist height. I have a bad tendency to "fan" it open on the way back.

Good trackman data to back up the changes - he sends it all through with comments and pictures on etc - loads of data and information to help.

Never heard of custom grips.....Not sure with them being rubber etc how long anything would last.
