Low effort thread, mods must condemn

:D

Getting fed up of seeing this tbh.

@Maccy any chance of adding this phrase to the sticky? Make it up there with Rhyl (I'm sure this used to be on that list?), tl;dr, etc.

No no no... I say keep it! It started in the Meghan Markle thread where @hurfdurf originally posted that phrase because Meghan apparently didn't have enough ass-kissers in that thread. Then Hurf tried to blame it on @Maccy, saying that the posts got mixed up or something along those lines.

A company that has been having a lot of negative publicity rebrands to try to break the association (cheaper than actually changing anything), but doesn't change any of the names of any of the products that it's known for. So what's the point of the rebrand?

Because all the brands currently, and any future acquisitions won't be owned by Facebook. Facebook itself gets ring fenced.

Wut... I don't remember this, and I don't recognise your user name. Nice that you are a fan though. Keep monitoring my posts!

On the road....
"And as part of this, it is time for us to adopt a new company brand to encompass everything that we do, to reflect who we are and what we hope to build."

They'd have been better off naming it Turd....

Although Skynet wouldn’t be far from the mark. :p :D

In the future you won't need a facebook account for an oculus vr headset. You'll probably need a meta one though.

People will be happy.

I can see literally millions/billions of pounds will be spent on virtual goods in the future. Even more so than now. It's going to be big business.

I'm thinking about starting up my own metaverse company selling virtual perfume.

:edit: Damn, that names already taken https://metascent.com/

urgh! and this one https://www.metafume.site/

I've given up with that idea. What about meta taxis....getting you from A to B in the Metaverse?

Nooooooo https://metataxis.com/

Meta coffee shops?
