Do you know anyone who does this?

Obviously people eat butter as an ingredient, but one of my colleagues asked me to get her a tub of butter from the shops while I was out - OK, no problem - but when I brought it back she proceeded to eat it out of the tub. Is it weird that I've never seen this being done before? Is it common?

I love butter on toast etc but agreed it's not particularly nice to eat on its own. Melted into the holes of a toasted crumpet though.... mmm might have to buy some crumpets now.

That sounds disgusting, that said I do know someone who likes to eat raw sausages which is even worse.
Reminds me of a show where the Hairy Bikers went round to different countries in Europe trying typical foods. They went to Poland and there was a big thing about sausages. He visited some rural area and to test that the mix of the sausage meat and spices were right the old guy just ate some of it raw, been doing it his whole life apparently . Apparently eating raw sausages is more common than we think.
