So car went in for a service Tuesday.

What does it cost for an oil and filter service on an Aventador at Lambo?

You should have vlogged it to Youtube, adding a clickbait title & thumbnail and that would have been and easy x10+ return on that cost :p

How much is that costing you out of interest, is it the 360 where there is no access panel and its engine out or was it the 360 they introduced the rear entrance panel to make the job easier?

I can be very smug with the 458, servicing was free. Only next one will be first I pay for which is £950 for oil and filter at Ferrari, probably less at a Specialist.

360 was the first of the non engine-out servicing fortunately.

It's going to Keys Motorsport at Silverstone, been given a ballpark of c. £1.6k for the major service incl cambelt. Getting braided brake hoses done at the same time but not entirely sure if that's included in that number or not (if not it shouldn't be much else as it does include brake fluid change)

Do need to swap my standard seats back in (I've fitted Recaro CS's) so I can tidy up the brackets for those while it's in for the service.

Hopefully for @kindai Lambo are better than the Ferrari dealer I had a pre-purchase inspection done at. They flagged 2x oil leaks and a £2k quote to repair, specialist post-purchase inspection showed everything was bone dry so Ferrari had quoted me for work that wasn't required.

From memory its was every 5,000 miles on my bosses AV and came in at £5,300 each time.

The only way he could be burning up clutches like that is if the TCM is misconfigured or hes doing stupid amounts of launches.

My car is on 12500 miles and the clutch reading today was 1.7mm worn out of 7mm when it needs replacement. I know many owners who are on the first clutch at 50-60k+ miles on the car.

They railed off a list of "issues" they found, including my custom exhaust, which they suggest replacing with a stock exhaust system at a cost of 17k lol.

There were other minor bits as well that need sorting but all of its covered under warranty so the parts are ordered.

My Scania ticked over 300K miles this week, the clutch wear indicator stands @ 70% (meaning 30% worn) I'd love to know who makes the clutches for them!

Thought I would check my local specialist (Simon Furlonger) and see what they charge for a minor service for an AV and it comes in at £795.

Over £2k seems like madness for an oil/filter. I know you have got to "pay to play" but it seems a tad.......excessive.

Yep, the car is out of extended warranty early next year, so wanted to make use of it before that ends hence the main dealer service... before it does expire I will book it in for a full VHC and make use of it right before to catch any bits.

From this service, it also picked up around 3.5k of work needed that can all be under warranty.

Next year will likely have Litchos handle the service.

100% understandable! Hit that warranty for all it is worth.
