Felt really good in the first hour or so. Enjoyed it but then it succumbed to the same crap that all DC bonds have, the boring love politics, villains with no backstory who are boring, crap uninteresting lengthy pointless dialogue. Was a huge yawn fest for the remaining 2hrs. Malik was crap in this, he's a good actor but you can't shoehorn him into everything.

Good bye DC, shut the door on the way out, no one will miss you. That said, wasn't impressed with the replacements acting either.

I'll leave this prediction here, the next bond movie will tank harder than the last ghost busters

Just finished watching this, my over all feeling is just meh, not good, not bad either just meh.

Daniel Craig best bond film remains casino royale, not one of his follow up bond films has got close

First half/hour felt like a Bond parody - the Niven Casino Royale from the 60s? came to mind, with Craig's age as well (they chose how to make him up at his real age)

The diverse 007, a parody of Grace Jones' character, not sure she was meant to be an empowerment representation, versus the understated/underestimated CIA dual;
so, who was zooming who.

Signals the end of an era though - where can it go next to maintain its iconic status, the cinema industry needs these behemoths/franchises.

Not really, I don't need someone to tell me what I should think of a film.

That's a fair point and I don't think it's a terrible film, if you enjoy it, more power to you, the vid just makes a few things quite apparent that are pretty bad. I only stumbled across their channel as they did a Halloween Kills video which is probably one of the worst movies i've had the misfortune to attempt to watch in years.

I had high hopes for this after the shoddy Spectre with Fukunaga directing, I just came out of the cinema thinking 'oh, that's it?' and the forced emotional hit at the end just felt offensive to anyone thinking past the surface level.

Love the ScreenRant series but it's definitely an acquired taste.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience!

Absolutely not something I could binge through, does grate after a while.

The end of this one though where he explains how

Bond dies

and then just stands there deadpan is great.

Well it did say after the end credits that James Bond would return. Not sure how since we saw the missiles hitting him! She did relinquish the 007 number though so that removes her from the mix and frees up the number, just cant see how "James Bond" will be back unless they sponge up some DNA and clone him.

Because it will be rebooted and the Bond played by Craig will have never existed. Same as when Craig became Bond, it was a reboot, none of the previous Bonds had happened

They made it slightly more confusing because they kept the same 'M' between Brosnan and Craig stints, even though Craigs was clearly a reboot with his first (or second) proper mission

Aye that certainly made things confusing, and they're talking of keeping M, Q and Moneypenny the same in the next film as well, which would just make it very hard to buy in to it being a reboot. Unless they're going for the idea that James Bond is a code name in the same way 007 is, and anyone can be James Bond. I hope not though, as that would certainly go against the books

was Craig a reboot? There were so many references to items and past memories. Hell, even in this film OHMSS references were rammed down our throats constantly. Anyway, shame to see him go but 2 good films out of his set is better than brosnan managed for me.

Maybe this is how it will be for future runs, each Bond actor will have his little mini series with a story arc and then, boom, reset for the next one.

Bah, goldeneye alone is worth all DC films combined. Admittedly the rest of Brosnan were a bit crap, The World is not enough was OK.
