Migrate Lightroom from PC to Mac

Never having used MAC OS before I’m about to try and move my LR over and before I screw it up I want to check a few things!

I’ve dragged my old Catalogue, all the changes, history etc onto an external HDD ready to port over. When LR used to be on my PC it looked for the H drive. Now I assume when I install LR on MAC I install LR, update it and then hit the LR cat that I have backed up, but it will look for the H drive?

How do I get it to point at the correct external drive and keep all my changes and presets etc?

Thanks, I'm using Lightroom 5 still. So I'm just going to have to point it to the new drive position. But will this still bring across all my edits and history?
