Well if they don't speak French, German or any other continental language, it's pretty pointless even trying to apply for asylum in those countries. Plenty of ex-French colonies do in fact apply in France for asylum, so clearly the language barrier is a problem.
are we the only country in the world that speaks english?

It's the French warships escorting migrant boats into British waters before dumping them on Border Force and Britain agree to pay France £54million, Send them all back to Iran & Libya it would be cheaper for the UK & Tax payer. We don't need them here also it not our problem

I wouldn’t read or trust anything on the DailyMail website. It’s clickbait of the lowest and most inhuman kind.

Some food for thought for some on here. Replace any of the bolded words for any minorities that have been blamed for societiy's ills along the years.

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

The way a government treats refugees is very instructive because it shows you how they would treat the rest of us if they thought they could get away with it.

What do you make of this quote from the French interior minister?

The interior minister added that there had been too many deaths and "we cannot accept that any more people die".

But he also argued that the UK had to assume responsibility by making itself less economically attractive for illegal migrants.

It's France's wet dream for the UK to only exist as some basket case. Their frothing has made them seem delirious. The realisation hasn't caught up with them that we no longer take orders from the EU or any part of it.

I think there is a difference between not caring and feeling happy that something has happened.
Of course there is, if the worse happens it's in them. It's not as if they don't know the risks! Why not not risk it and stay in France or if you are a genuine refugee apply to the British authorities, oh that's right your a n illegal migrant
