Winning ONE trophy in nine doesn't exactly set the heather on fire up here. As for the SPFL being a mickey mouse league, what would English football be like without SKY? Quite a few of the EPL's best players have come from Scotland or Scottish teams.
Not Scottish though….

That’s like saying quite a few great players came from the under 10’s Saturday kids league down hackney marshes..

Whats that got to do with it. It doesn't matter the reasoning for it, it is how it is. The whole world works in this fashion. There are reasons for almost everything but that doesn't change the facts.

Scottish League football has been a joke for the past 50 years, long before the advent of the premier League. English football at least used to conquer European football regularly well before football started in 1992

Tell who was the first non Latin team to win the European Cup? I also recall Celtic humbling both Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers on their way to the Uefa Cup final. Oh, and Man City couldn't beat Celtic either.

Celtic in 1967, with a team full of players born and raised within 30 miles of Celtic Park, an unbelievable achievement.. also one that was 55 years ago.

And young boys have beaten premier League opposition on more than one occasion. I don't see anyone thinking the Swiss league is anything but joke of a league.

In 11 European Cup finals between 74 and 85, an English team was in 9 of them winning 6 times.

Was he intending to be offensive? No, so people getting ****** about it is just stupid. Hes apologised so its fine.

Of course he wasn't meaning to be offensive, but it's some leap to compare a potentially one sided match if City got into their stride to the holocaust! The monumental stupidity lies right with Cole not with anyone who has been offended by it. Compare a football score perhaps to a cricket score, a rugby score or another high scoring sport but to the mass genocide of millions of jewish people?!?!?! He's about as stupid as that other shining light in football Joey Barton who made a similar comparison.

Of course it is which is exactly the reason you should realise that it was a stupid remark that he made without thinking about it. It wasn't a calculated remark that he had planned, it was off the cuff and stupid and should be treated as such.
